Every year, U.S. News and Best Lawyers research every firm that employs a Best Lawyers honoree. Every qualifying firm across 188 metropolitan areas is measured via peer surveys, client feedback, and past results. Researchers also judge a firm’s ethics, integrity, and commitment to client advocacy.
A firm’s reputation and achievements are measured through different factors, all of which are given a point value. The firm’s total score comes from adding their points. Then the range of scores is divided into three tiers.
