Florida Explosion Attorneys
Helping Catastrophic Explosion Victims Throughout Florida
At Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.A., we have been helping the victims of catastrophic events fight for the justice that they deserve since 1984. Since then, we have become known for being the kind of trial attorneys who do more than talk about results, we know how to get them. We have been involved in some of the state's most severe accidents, such as the 2018 bridge collapse, and have fought alongside our clients, helping them recover hundreds of millions of dollars.
Our success can often be attributed to our unique approach to handling cases. Since the beginning, we have been a law firm that prides itself on quality over quantity. That is why we have always limited our caseload, allowing our clients to benefit from an exponential increase in focus, time, and resources. We believe that by working on only a small amount of cases at a time that our clients get better results. On average, each lawyer only handles approximately 10 cases at a time, which means that we can move faster than other law firms and can stay several steps ahead of the other side.
This commitment to our clients and results has earned us numerous awards, including being:
- Listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1987
- Ranked Tier 1 in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers® Best Law Firms
- Listed in Florida Super Lawyers since 2006

Explosion Occurs at Plantation, FL Shopping Center
On July 6, 2019, a shopping center in Plantation, Florida exploded at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the morning. The Broward County blast was initially believed to be a gas explosion, which followed reports of an active gas leak and ruptured gas lines at the scene. The final count revealed that 23 people total were injured in the blast, and 2 were severely wounded. Footage of the scene of the accident showed that windows were blown out at the mall's LA Fitness and that other parts of the complex had suffered severe damage. Debris had been thrown around the area with some of it going as far as hundred yards across the street. Police warned residents that businesses would be closed until the fire crew could deem the area safe and urged people to stay away.
