We’re proud to announce that Michael Levine has been elected to the American Law Institute (ALI). ALI is “the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise improve the law.” Their publications—Restatements of the Law, Principles of the Law, and Moral Codes—are influential documents in courtrooms across the country. Their elected membership is chosen for their achievements in legal scholarship and in the practice of law in the courtroom.
“For nearly 100 years, the American Law Institute has worked to clarify, modernize, and improve the law in our country,” said Michael. “I’m honored to be elected to the ALI and eager to work alongside dedicated attorneys from across the country.”
Michael will be joining ALI alongside one of the firm’s founding members, Larry Stewart. Larry is a Lifetime Member of ALI, elected in 1993 and later elected to the ALI Council. He serves today as an Emeritus Council Member.
