Our firm is pleased to announce that all five of our practicing partners were recognized by Super Lawyers® or Super Lawyers Rising Stars™ in 2022. Gary Fox, David Bianchi, and Stephen Cain were named to the Super Lawyers 2022 edition, while Dax Bello and Michael Levine were named to the Rising Stars list. In addition, Gary was named to the Top 100 Miami Super Lawyers List for 2022, a prestigious and exclusive honor.
How Super Lawyers Are Chosen
Super Lawyers, owned by Thomson Reuters, employs a rigorous methodology to select the top attorneys from each state. The process includes a formal nomination process where attorneys in 70 practice areas are invited to nominate the top attorneys they personally witnessed in practice that year. Research staffers also look for attorneys with certain credentials or accomplishments to add to the nomination pool.
Then, each nomination is vetted based on 12 indicators of professional achievement, followed by peer evaluation conducted by the highest-performing attorneys in each practice area. The attorneys with the highest point total from each practice area and each metropolitan area are chosen for the final list, which includes no more than the top 5% of attorneys in each area. Gary’s point total from this process put him in the top 100 attorneys in the Miami metropolitan area.
The Rising Stars selection criteria are identical, but with one additional requirement: nominees must either be younger than 40 or have been practicing for less than 10 years.
