David W. Bianchi Named 2025 Trial Lawyer of the Year by FLABOTA

Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.A. is proud to announce that partner David W. Bianchi has been named the 2025 “Trial Lawyer of the Year” by the Florida Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (FLABOTA).

This prestigious award is FLABOTA’s highest honor, presented each year to a civil trial lawyer who has demonstrated excellence in advocacy, a distinguished career, and an unwavering commitment to the preservation of the civil jury trial system.

In the words of the organization itself:

“More than any one case, David has been at the vanguard in the creation of anti-hazing policies and laws which have made college students safer across the country, which we would like to highlight for purposes of this nomination.”

David’s selection for this award recognizes his decades-long fight to protect the rights of the injured and his nationally recognized leadership in hazing litigation and reform. His work has led to meaningful legal changes across the country, from the groundbreaking prosecution of fraternity practices in the Chad Meredith case to his advocacy for laws like Andrew’s Law and Danny’s Law. These landmark reforms have held wrongdoers accountable while creating vital protections for future students.

David joins an extraordinary legacy within the firm. With this recognition, Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.A. becomes the only law firm in Florida with three recipients of the FLABOTA Trial Lawyer of the Year award. Larry Stewart received the honor in 1994, and Gary Fox, who also served as FLABOTA’s founding president, was named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2013.
